Min Herbal Formulas foundation

Men have a history of not being as aware of their biological functions as women. Men only go to the hospital when something is wrong. This causes men issues to be more severe when found. We wanted to break that functionality by giving men products that work directly on what a man is, that’s testosterone. Testosterone is what makes a man a man. It is also what helps the functions of a man stay healthy. An androgen, meaning that it stimulates the development of male characteristics. If testosterone deficiency occurs during fetal development, then male characteristics may not completely develop. If testosterone deficiency occurs during puberty, a boy’s growth may slow and no growth spurt will be seen.

The founding of our company comes from a desire to help men remain vital, vibrant and powerful.

Min God of Fertility

We chose Min, in ancient Kemet he is a god of fertility and harvest, embodiment of the masculine principle; Min was represented with phallus erect, a flail in his raised right hand. The lettuce was his sacred plant. Consort: Qetesh, goddess of love and femininity.

We chose the name and ideal of Min to tap into his greatness.

Known as “Bull of the Great Phallus”.

Herbal medicine had been practiced in ancient Kemet since the earliest, prehistoric days, many millennia B.C.

Herbal medicine is the oldest and still the most widely used system of medicine in the world today. Herbs have been used since ancient times for their medicinal properties, mostly concentrated into teas and tinctures.

An herb is a plant or plant part used for its scent, flavor, or therapeutic properties. They are sold as tablets, capsules, powders, teas, extracts, and fresh or dried plants. People use herbal medicines to try to maintain or improve their health.

The true power of herbs lies in their wealth of protective polyphenols — plant compounds with potent antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects. Piles of studies show that polyphenols in herbs help combat such diseases as cancer, heart disease, Alzheimer’s, diabetes and more.

The Sacred Lettuce of Min

The above picture of the procession float of Min depicts the main float followed by two priests. The priests carry sacred lettuce plants, the symbol of Min  similar in shape to our Romaine lettuce. The pointed-shaped lettuce plants are stylized and frequently appear in many images depicting Min. The wild prickly lettuce Lactuca virosa was domesticated and this version of the lettuce was Lactuca sativa which had both aphrodisiac and opiate qualities. The aphrodisiac qualities clearly connecting this plant to Min.
